Last updated 29 September 2026. This notice covers the early-access waitlist.

Quietzone is owned and run by Jurden Enterprises, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, which is responsible for the information this page describes (“we”).

Quietzone is in early access. Right now you can read this site and join the waitlist. This page says what we collect, why, and how to get it removed. The short version: we keep your email address to tell you about Quietzone, we don't sell it, and you can leave anytime.

What we collect

  • If you join the waitlist: your email address, when you signed up, when you confirmed, and the exact words you agreed to: “We'll email you about early access and occasional product news. Unsubscribe anytime.”
  • To stop abuse of the signup form: a code made from your IP address, and another made from the email address you entered, each mixed with a secret key (a keyed hash, HMAC-SHA-256). Without that key, the codes can't be turned back into your IP address or email address. We keep them for up to 2 days.
  • When you visit: page views, counted by Umami, analytics software we run on our own server. It records the page (its address and title), the site that sent you, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, and language, and the country your IP address is in. It doesn't record your region or city, uses no cookies, and doesn't store your IP address. If your browser sends Do Not Track, it doesn't count you at all. It never runs on the confirm and unsubscribe pages. We keep these records for 13 months.

Our servers don't keep access logs, and our error logs leave out IP addresses.

How our analytics count visitors

To tell one visitor from another without cookies, Umami makes a code from our site's ID, your IP address, and your browser's user-agent string (the text your browser sends to say what it is), mixed with a secret key and with the date the current month started (UTC). It stores that code, not your IP address. Because the date changes, you get a new code on the first day of every month, so we can't link your visits from one month to the next.

To group page views into one visit, it makes a second code from the first, which changes every hour. A visit ends after 30 minutes without a page view.

Your country comes from DB-IP's free country database, which has no region or city data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP.

Why we use it

To email you about early access and occasional product news, no more than once a month. We rely on your consent, which you give when you confirm your email and can take back anytime by unsubscribing. We count visits to learn which pages are useful.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your information, or share it for advertising.
  • We don't put tracking pixels in our emails or track which links you click.
  • We don't use advertising or social media trackers on this site.

Who helps us

These companies process data for us only to provide their service:

  • Oracle hosts our server and database, in its Chicago region (United States).
  • Resend delivers our email, from the United States, and keeps a copy of each email and its delivery record for 30 days. Its open and click tracking is turned off for our email.
  • Cloudflare runs our domain's DNS and forwards email sent to hello@getquietzone.com, keeping a record of each message's sender, recipient, and subject for 31 days. Visits to this site go straight to our server, not through Cloudflare.
  • Backblaze stores an encrypted copy of our database backups in the United States.

Messages you send to hello@getquietzone.com are forwarded to a Gmail inbox, where we read them. It's an ordinary Gmail account, so Google keeps those messages under its own terms and privacy policy, rather than as a company working for us.

How long we keep it

  • If you never confirm your email, we delete the signup after 30 days.
  • If you unsubscribe, we keep your address only on a do-not-email list, so you don't hear from us again unless you sign up again. Ask and we'll delete it entirely.
  • If an email to you bounces, or you mark one as spam, we note it on your signup so we don't email you again. Marking one as spam also unsubscribes you.
  • We send at most 100 emails a day. One we can't send at once waits in a queue for up to 7 days, and is deleted when it's sent or when that time is up.
  • Otherwise we keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Deleted data can stay in our backups for up to 35 days before they roll over.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any email we send.
  • Email hello@getquietzone.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Children

Quietzone is a tool for businesses and isn't meant for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll email you first.
